WASHINGTON DC, Nov. 4, 2020 – Yesterday's vote was fierce and competitive, with high levels of engagement from election officials and citizens in the face of great legal uncertainty and a highly polarized political environment fueled by aggressive campaign rhetoric and international observers against the United States Parliamentary elections said in a statement today.

The observation mission, jointly carried out by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, concluded that the November 3rd general election would be held despite the many challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic were competitive and well managed.
